Promotion

The project provided several promotional events and meetings with local users of the project area. The ultimate goal of all promotional activities will be:

• Propagation of information on the Program and the Financial Mechanism which finances the project;
• Propagation of information on the biology and ecology of the Baltic Sea ecosystem with special emphasis on the need to protect marine mammals of the marine area of the Słowiński National Park;
• Rising of the awareness among inhabitants of the coastal area in the field of species richness of the Polish coastal zonein order to increase awareness in this field;
• Education of younger and older students concerning the nature of the Baltic Sea, its current status, causes of degradation and protection methods.

Actions described above will be directed to the widest possible audience:

• General public,
• Local and regional administrations dealing with the protection of the Baltic Sea resources,
• Maritime administration,
• Universities and academies involved in marine studies,
• Fishermen and local people,
• Learning youth.
